This policy explains how Jonathan Blake LLC DBA The Lead Venture ("we," "us") collects and uses information on theleadventure.com and our related sites, homeprosohio.com and midwestroofingcalculators.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us when you fill out a form or use a calculator that asks for contact details: name, email, phone number, business name, website, trade, service area, and anything you type in free-text fields.
Usage information collected automatically: pages viewed, links and buttons clicked, referring site, device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and page performance data.
Session recordings. We record how visitors move through our sites (scrolling, clicks, page changes) to find and fix confusing pages. Text you type into form fields is masked and not captured in recordings.

How we use it

To respond to your request, deliver what you asked for (such as a website build or revenue leak report), and schedule appointments.
To send the text messages and emails you consented to.
To understand how our sites are used and improve them.
To prevent fraud and keep our sites secure.

Service providers

We use trusted vendors to run our business, and they process data only on our behalf:

PostHog for product analytics, session recordings, and error tracking.
HighLevel (LeadConnector) for our CRM, forms, scheduling, email, and SMS.
Cloudflare for website hosting and security.
Google Analytics for traffic measurement, where enabled.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not buy or sell leads.

SMS / text messaging

If you opt in to text messages, we will message you about customer support, appointments, and (only if you separately agree) promotions. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help. See our SMS Terms.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except with the service providers that deliver our messages.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and local storage to remember your visit, measure traffic, and keep forms working. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may not work as expected if you do. Many ad and tracking blockers will also stop our analytics.

AI-voice narration

Audio versions of our blog posts are narrated with an AI voice. We generate them with Kokoro, a free, open-source text-to-speech model, on our own computer, so post text is never sent to a voice company. Every narration is labeled "Narrated with an AI voice" on the page, and the audio file's own information says so too.

How long we keep it

We keep contact and CRM records for as long as we have a business relationship with you, or until you ask us to delete them. Session recordings are kept for up to 30 days.

Your choices

Ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.
Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email, and from texts by replying STOP.

Children

Our sites are for business owners and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
