Most local service directories are either outdated, cluttered with irrelevant national chains, or so poorly built that nobody actually finds them through search. We built HomeProsOhio.com to fix that — a directory built specifically for local, service-based businesses across Ohio and Michigan, designed to actually rank and actually send real eyeballs to the contractors listed on it.
The problem we’re solving
Good local contractors — roofers, landscapers, HVAC techs, tree services, and other home service pros — often have no real online visibility beyond their own website and maybe a Google Business Profile. They’re competing against big national lead-gen sites that don’t care about the local business at all, they just resell the lead to the highest bidder.
HomeProsOhio is built the opposite way: it’s a directory that exists to promote the actual local businesses on it, not to sell their information off to competitors.
