The Homefront Savings Card: A Shared EDDM Mailer That Puts 14 Local Businesses in Every Mailbox
We designed a shared Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) savings card: 14 local businesses, one per trade, each with an offer, a call-to-book number and a scan-to-claim QR code, mailed to every home on the route.

Direct mail still works for local service businesses, but a solo postcard is expensive and easy to throw away. So we designed the Homefront Savings Card: one shared mailer that carries offers from 14 local businesses, one per trade, and gets mailed to every home on a neighborhood route through USPS Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM).
The image below is a sample concept proof. The businesses, offers and phone numbers on it are for illustration only.
How it works
- One business per trade. Plumbing, HVAC, roofing, remodeling, pest control, electrical, cleaning, lawn care, concrete, garage doors, tree service and more. No competitors on the same card, so every business owns its category.
- A “keep this card” format. “Keep this card. Call when you need it.” The card is built to stick on the fridge, not go straight in the recycling.
- Every listing gets an offer, a call-to-book phone number and a scan-to-claim QR code.
- Trackable response. Each listing has its own call-to-book number and QR code, so calls and scans from the card can be tracked.
- EDDM postage. Every Door Direct Mail lets the card go to every household on a carrier route without buying a mailing list, at a lower bulk rate.
- Shared cost. Splitting printing and postage across 14 businesses makes neighborhood-wide mail affordable for businesses that could never pay for it alone.
Why it matters
Most local businesses either skip direct mail because of the cost, or send one postcard and give up. A shared card makes it affordable, the one-per-trade rule keeps it exclusive, and the tracking numbers and QR codes show exactly what it produces. It’s another way the Booked Solid System gets a business in front of homeowners before they search.
